金基德想说什么?偏执专制鲁莽但是生命力和意志力极强的坏小子,喜欢她,引诱她,摧残她,偷窥她,让她和他成为同样的社会边缘人,主流社会以外的弃儿.这样她就不再是那个高高在上的公主,那个前途光明的大学生,这样,他们就平等了?这与卡拉克斯的"新桥恋人"中丹尼斯.拉方的想法何其相似,但是丹尼斯至少还期望者比诺什的解救,期待脱离流浪街头的苦海.金基德电影里面的女人呢?自私,贪财,卑贱!顺从,甚至沉迷被于生活和命运的不幸,无力改变,所以心安理得地自甘堕落.难怪影片上映时,韩国女权组织的人出来抗议.
片尾，哑男荡女提供移动的卖身服务，平坦的公路沿着海岸线蜿蜒曲折伸向天际。他们又重新上路了上,带着让人迷惑的释然。伴随着拍打海岸的浪花,平静、沧桑的女声响起......
