August Rush
一部阳春白雪的电影，但是和August扯不上边，与Rush也没有什么联系。电影讲述了一个天赋颇高的音乐世家三人从浪漫相遇，无奈离散，最后重拾自我、亲情、爱情的故事。影片故事简单而老套，但是很多人喜欢里面三个人在演绎音乐时流露出的天赋和才情，为了夫妻重逢、母子团圆孜孜不倦的追求，以及小朋友从迷茫、犹豫中寻找到挣脱出来的自我发现。除此以外，里面的音乐也是相当细腻优美的。
以音乐为题材的电影不少，最近比较受欢迎的就有《once》。不过这部电影缺少点令人回味的遗憾和伤感，一切事情都来得太完美、结局太圆满，落得成为精雕细作之后的阳春白雪，人生阅历不多的小放牛们应该比较喜欢里面的浪漫完美。
City of Angels
电影拍了有十年了，是Cage和Ryan黄金时期的作品。看似浪漫的爱情故事，剧情其实是非常无厘头的：天使看上了凡间的美女，为了“伟大的爱情”，天使跌落凡间；然而凡间的美女却在此时遭遇车祸被天使们带到了另外一个世界，留下沦落为凡人的天使同学失魂落魄地在地球上游荡……看到电影的最后，我一点都没有“淡淡的忧伤”，只想捧腹大笑。
Cage同学忧郁气质很适合演绎里面细腻敏感的天使，Ryan同学太平公主般的身材稍微欠缺点说服力。电影里的人物完全不食人间烟火，没有一丝世俗的气息，比上一部电影还要阳春白雪。这部电影好像在欧美广受欢迎，这也许从一个侧面说明洋鬼子们还是相当的Naive，对某些东西有着不切实际的期待。
不过里面天使的服装、扮相那是相当拉风的，一袭黑衣，喜欢在凡人高不可攀的地方侃大山，总是在日出日落的大海边集结。他们没有饥饿，没有痛苦，也没有感觉，常常静静地呆在那里，等着你的灵魂出壳后跟随他们而去。但是奇怪的是，他们却知道爱，知道喜欢还是不喜欢一个人，也会有犹豫和思考。
另外值得一提的是里面Sarah Mclachlan演绎的主题曲《Angel》，仿佛从天空传来缥缈的嗓音、伴随时隐时现的钢琴伴奏，相当相当地清澈、平和、安静，却依然动人心扉……
